Karma, a word that gets thrown around but may be misunderstood. It’s meaning is pretty simple really; what you experience in the present is created from your actions in the past.  Some like to make the comparison to Newton’s 3rd Law; every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  However you choose to describe it, in Yoga we practice Karma as a way to be mindful of our actions, and as a reminder to be selfless. Whether it’s in the words you choose to express to yourself or others, giving selflessly to make someone’s day a little brighter, or donating your time or funds to support a good cause.

I couldn’t say it any better than Wayne Dyer: “How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.” Definitely words to live by.
